RAWALPANDI: President Alkhidmat Foundation Azad Jammu and Kashmir Colonel (retd) Zafar Rashid stated that Alkhidmat Foundation was serving the humanity in Kashmir without any discrimination. He added that looking after the poor and orphans is a rewarding job and that Islam taught us doing so. He further added that people of Kashmir as well as overseas Kashmir donate generously for welfare of orphans.

Moreover, Alkhidmat Foundation was working on projects like orphan support, clean drinking water, construction of Mosques, relief to Line of Control (LoC) victims and healthcare. He added that all that work was undertaken with the help of well-wishers.

He said that while conversing with a delegation. Colonel (retd) Zafar Rashid added that recently Alkhmidat Foundation performed eye surgery and inserted lenses to the deserving patients with the help of Gogar’ Welfare and provided free treatment to the poor people. He said that the specialist doctors across Pakistan took part and the work of relief was in progress.

Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan was striving to eliminate the sense of poverty among the deserving masses, the Zafar Rashid added. Moreover, Alkhmidat Foundation was standing with poor and orphans all times. Aghosh center is working in a good manner, and we are trying to build Aghosh centre in every Kashmir District.
