DC hopes tense situation will be ease between opponents in NW

Peshawar: Deputy Commissioner North Waziristan Shahid Ali Khan has said that the situation was tense since Thursday over the land dispute between Borakhel and Eidak tribes.

However, a jirga is in progress under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner North Waziristan Daulat Khan and Assistant Commissioner Tehsil Mir Ali Abbas Afridi Which will soon make the talks a success.

In a statement, he said that Bannu Miranshah Road is open for traffic.

Deputy Commissioner North Waziristan Shahid Ali Khan further said that the leaders of Atmanzai Jirga are also involved in the talks which will be decided in accordance with regional traditions and principles keeping in view the observance of law.

To this end, talks are underway at the negotiating table between the two tribes and a lasting solution will come out very soon, he added.

He also appealed not to spread false information on social media in this regard.
