LAHORE: PML-N has said FIA has challenged jurisdiction of court in Shahbaz Sharif case after 11 months and it is strange that this court had heard the case of Jahangir Tareen and as to why FIA did not challenge the jurisdiction of this court in the latter case.

Talking to media men here Saturday, PML-N leader Atta Ullah Tarar said FIA instituted case against Shahbaz Sharif 11 months earlier. After passage of so many months now FIA has come to know that this case does not fall in the jurisdiction of the court. This court heard the case of Jahangir Tareen then as to why FIA did not think about the matter of jurisdiction .

He indicated that FIA had never run a case against any government official for such a long period. FIA could not provide evidences about money laundering even after lapse of 11 months.

He held FIA at the behest of Shahzad Akbar distorts the facts first and then gives information. The rulers are wasting the national wealth and time of court.
