ISLAMABAD: Interior minister Rana Sana Ullah has said governor Punjab Umar Sarfraz Cheema has no powers to restore Usman Buzdar as Chief Minister (CM) Punjab.

Talking to media men Rana Sana Ullah said if president and governor don’t fulfill their constitutional obligations then the court is custodian. President has also not discharged its constitutional obligation. The court again directed the president to nominate representative to administer oath.

He held “ we have kept in view law and constitution in every matter. Oath is being administered to newly elected chief minister as per court’s orders.

Prime Minister (PM) has given summary for removing governor Punjab, he underlined. Governor Punjab cannot restore chief minister constitutionally, he added.
