Imran Khan running govt with lies instead of solving public problems, Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE : Deputy Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and President of Political, Electoral, National Affairs Committee Liaqat Baloch has said that the entire party and workers of Jamaat-e Islami are satisfied and enthusiastic about the political election strategy of Jamaat-e-Islami.

He said that Jamaat-e-Islami will participate in local and national elections on its manifesto and the electoral symbol Scales. Jamaat-e-Islami will intensify its ideological, religious and public welfare struggle to liberate the country and the nation from political turmoil, economic crises and an unconstitutional, non-parliamentary environment. The Islamic ideological and welfare movement is the greatest need in the face of vested interests and democracy.

Baloch said that a long-term and trying struggle is inevitable for implementing the Constitution and the recommendations of the Islamic Ideological Council and replacing the capitalist, oppressive economic system with the Islamic economic system.

Liaqat Baloch said that after the approval of the national budget, the ominous shadow of the IMF’s conditions on the economic system is getting darker. Poverty is on the rise and the living standards of the people are declining. Electricity, oil, gas, clean water crisis and very high prices have become a nightmare for the people. Instead of resolving public issues, Imran Khan’s government is running the government with political turmoil, humiliation of opponents and loud lies and deception.

He said that the people cannot be kept in a state of hegemony and deception for long. The people will wake up and lies and deception, selfish and anti-people system will come to an end.

Liaqat Baloch said that Pakistan has no foreign policy. On the foreign front, issues are being dealt with on a temporary and ad hoc basis. The situation in Kashmir and Afghanistan is deteriorating. Parliament has been ousted/bye-passed from every national issue. A unified national strategy and action plan must be made a national priority.
