Inflation, unemployment, power outages, continuous rise in prices of petroleum products are due to govt incompetence: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE: Liaqat Baloch, Deputy Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and President of Political Electoral Affairs Committee, while addressing the public gatherings in Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Muzaffargarh, Shujaabad, meetings with political elders and public delegations and media in Lahore, said that inflation, unemployment power outages, gas crisis, continuous rise in prices of petroleum products are due to government incompetence, failure and mismanagement.

Liaqat Baloch said that Imran Khan claimed to have started a revolution in 100 days but change in 1100 days has become a disgrace and a shame. Electricity is the most expensive despite its abundance. People bear expensive bills but Imran Sarkar has not been able to fix the system of electric transmission lines in 3 years.

Liaqat Baloch said that corruption, bribery and nepotism are rampant. The corrupt mafia has been made strong. The curse of interest, loans, and circulation debt is growing. The failed, dysfunctional economic system of previous governments continues. The people are facing greater destruction and hardship than in the past. Bowing down to the IMF, the World Bank and another world economic power is not the answer. Self-reliance, self-confidence, political and social alignment and the implementation of the Islamic economic system are the solution to the crisis.

Liaqat Baloch said that India was keeping the terrorist network active to keep Pakistan unstable. Fascism has reached its peak in occupied Kashmir. Fascist Modi is the mastermind of every incident of terrorism in Pakistan, but the Imran government is facilitating the Indian terrorist Kulbhushan by not providing diplomatic facilities and a strategy for a unified national Kashmir policy. Humiliated and disgraced, India has left Afghanistan through a narrow alley. Indian defeat at the hands of brave Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir is a manifest destiny. He said that Kashmir, Afghanistan and Palestine are the most important and burning issues of the Ummah related to the security of Pakistan. The government, the opposition, and the state institutions should formulate a unified policy and action plan, Liaqat Baloch said.
