Pakistan reports 58 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reported 58 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,204,520. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 26,720 on Sunday. So far 1,086,785 patients have recovered in the country. Positivity rate of reported coronavirus cases on Sunday remained 5.45 percent in the country. So far 50,803,582 people have been partially vaccinated for coronavirus in country; meanwhile during the last 24 hours 596,373 people were vaccinated for coronavirus. So far 21,613,626 people have been fully vaccinated for coronavirus and 320,071 were vaccinated during the last 24 hours. So far 67,342,288 dozes of vaccine have been administered in whole country; meanwhile during the last 24 hours 873,783 dozes of vaccine were administered in the country.

According to the latest figures issued by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 3,153 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2 percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus has reached 90.2 percent. During the last 24 hours 3,797 coronavirus patients were recovered in the country. There are 5,370 critical coronavirus patients present in the country. There are 91,015 active coronavirus cases presenting the country.

According to NCOC, Punjab province has become at first position in number of total deaths from coronavirus pandemic; meanwhile Sindh province is on the second position. Meanwhile Sindh province has come on first position in terms of total reported cases of coronavirus, active coronavirus cases and recovered coronavirus cases in the country. On the other hand Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has come on third position in terms of active coroanvirus cases. There are 7,968 active coronavirus patients present in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. There are 49,706 active coronavirus patients present in Sindh, 26,469 in Punjab, 4,547 ctive coronavirus in Islamabad, 350 in Balochistan, 1,673 in Azad Jammu and Jammu and Kashmir and 302 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Till now 12,211 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 7,133 in Sindh 5,250 in KP, 887 in Islamabad, 718 in Azad Kashmir, 342 in Balochistan, and 179 in GB.

Furthermore 444,464 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 413,182 in Punjab 168,258 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 102,617 in Islamabad, 33,268 in Azad Kashmir, 32,569 in Balochistan and 10,162 in Gilgit-Baltistan. Pakistan has so far conducted 18,468,570 coronavirus tests and 57,792 in the last 24 hours.

So far 387,625 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 374,502 coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 155,040 coronavirus patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 97,183 coronaviurs patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 31,877 coronavirus patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 30,877 coronavirus patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 9,681 coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
