PM Imran Khan says Pakistan as a nation can progress only by following teachings of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH)

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has reiterated that Pakistan as a nation can progress only by following the teachings of Hazrat Muhammad Rasool Allah Khatim un Nabiyeen Sallallaho Alaihe Wa Ala Alayhee Wa Ashabehi Wassalam.

He was talking to renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel who called on him in Islamabad on Thursday.

Matters pertaining to establishment of National Rehmatul-lil-Alameen Authority to provide guidance to youth in the light of principles of the Riyasat-e-Madinah were discussed during the meeting.

Maulana Tariq Jameel appreciated the efforts of the Prime Minister in implementing the welfare model of the state of Madinah as well as the emphasis on character building of the youth in the light of the teachings of the holy Prophet.

Meanwhile Prime Minister Imran Khan says the government is taking all possible measures to take full advantage of the potential in tourism sector of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Talking to AJK Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan Niazi in Islamabad on Thursday, PM Imran Khan said providing jobs to locals through eco-tourism and conserving the natural beauty of these areas is one of the top priorities of the government.

They discussed projects to promote tourism in Azad Kashmir and holding of local bodies elections in AJK this year.

Meanwhile Prime Minister Imran Khan has congratulated the Ministry of Communications and National Highway Authority for saving public money through transparency and digitisation.

In a tweet on Thursday, PM Imran Khan said regardless of price hike and inflation, the present government has constructed road infrastructure at a less rate when compared with the PML-N government.

He said there has been 125 percent increase in the revenue of National Highway Authority and land worth 5.18 billion rupees freed from encroachments.
