LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz said Wednesday the ‘Safe City Project’ is one of the pioneer achievements of his party as he declared the project ‘pivotal for public safety’.

According to details, the Punjab CM chaired a meeting on Wednesday at the committee room of Punjab Safe City Authority.

Important figures including Chief Secretary, Inspector General of Police, Addition Chief Secretary Interior and others were part of the meeting.

The Chief Minister through digital cameras reviewed the steps taken to ensure public’s safety across the province. Hamza Shehbaz also reviewed monitoring system through the Closed Circuit Television Cameras (CCTVs).

The Chief Minister also visited emergency helpline 15 call center. On this occasion, Hamza Shehbaz directed authorities to abruptly ensure completion of lane marking at the public roads and highways. The CM ordered complete functionality of all the installed CCTV cameras across Punjab.
