Rawalpindi: Three terrorists were killed in a security forces operation in Zewa area of Kurram district, stated a press release issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday.

The security forces conducted an Area Sanitization Operation in Zewa area of the district on reported presence of terrorists. As a result, three suspected terrorists were shot dead in exchange of fire between the terrorists and security forces.

During intense exchange of fire, 25-year-old Capt Basit, a resident of Haripur and Sepoy Hazrat Bilal, a resident of Orakzai, embraced shahadat.

Cordon and search operation in the areas was in progress to eliminate any other terrorists till the filing of this report.
