18 people died of Congo virus in Baluchistan, health emergency imposed

Quetta Caretaker government of Baluchistan has imposed health emergency due to Congo Virus. 18 people died in Baluchistan including Quetta from Congo. 60 people affected by Congo Virus have come forward in Quetta and out of which 15 victims belong to health department. 15 patients including 10 doctors have been shifted to Karachi for treatment. Caretaker Health Minister Dr Ameer Muhammad Jogezai said that the ward from which Congo Virus spread has been sealed. He said that due to spread of Congo Virus, the ward will remain sealed till next week. Caretaker Health Minister Baluchistan further said that the condition of 2 patients under treatment is critical. Dr Ameer Muhammad Jogezai said that slaughter houses are banned in Quetta for two weeks.
