643 Madrasas running in twin cities, registration process starts

RAWALPINDI: The strength of Madrasas in twin cities has reached up to 643 where a large number of foreign national students are residing without registration. As per survey conducted by a National Security Institution, 283 Madrashas are working in federal capital, while 360 in Rawalpindi, while strength of students getting education from there will be issued in next phase of survey.

Sources said, under eyeing the security situation of the twin cities, government has decided to register the Madrashas of all sects located here. Along with registration, government has also decided to start the monitoring process of Madrashas and students to ensure the security of the cities.
