ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad has stopped proceedings on NAB reference of accumulation of assets beyond known sources of income against finance minister Ishaq Dar.

The court remarked the case does not fall in the jurisdiction of this court under new amendment ordinance.

The court returned the reference to NAB. Judge Muhammad Bashir of AC announced the decision.

The AC had reserved judgment one day before following the completion of arguments.

The court has written in the decision following the implementation of amendment act the court has no authority to give decision on the acquittal pleas even. Neither we can give decision in favor of NAB nor the accused. The ongoing trial against Ishaq Dar is finished here.
