AIOU announces its results of FA programme

Islamabad: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced the final results of its FA programme for the Semester Spring, 2013 and placed the results on its website”.

Vice-Chancellor, AIOU Prof. Dr. Nazir Ahmed Sangi has pushed the computer button and declared the results of FA programme. On the occasion, Controller of Exams (CE), Dr. Hamid Khan Niazi, Incharge, Computer Section, Shabnum N Shahid, Senior officers of exams, Haji Abdul Shakoor and Muhammad Shabbir Shahid were also present.

After announcement results, Vice-Chancellor instructed the CE to prepare a wide-ranging plan to set-up exams centers at the country’s far-flung and remote regions in order to ensure availability of academic facilities at the nearest places of students. In this connection, he said that he will hold a meeting with CE and senior officers of the exams’ department by next week to finalize the plan of setting up exams centers in every nook and corner of the country before next exams.

CE said, results cards of FA programme are being sent by post to all the candidates, the students who will do not receive their result cards till 30th January, they should contact the Superintendent Exams personally or at his Phone Number 051-9057323. The students can also download their results from website of the University.

While briefing the Vice-Chancellor, CE said that 1,63,899 students were appeared across the country in FA exams and various exams centers were set-up around the country. He further said that assignments marks of all the students enrolled in BA Programme for the Semester Spring, 2013 have also been provided on the University’s website

He advised the students to check their assignments marks, if there is any error or complaint then bring it to the notice of BA section of examination department, AIOU immediately for its rectification. He said that final result of BA programme will be declared within two weeks.
