KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain condemned Friday’s killings of Mufti Usman Yar Khan and three workers of a private news channel.

Talking to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-S) chief Maulana Samiul Haq on phone, Altaf Hussain said he along with all MQM workers is with him at this critical juncture of grief. He also appealed to citizens and Muttahida workers to partake in three-day mourning called by the JUI-S.

The Muttahida chief said the government is doing nothing but sit back and watch the gory spectacle in progress in the city.

Maulana Sami asserted the federal and Sindh governments utterly failed in protecting the lives and properties of citizens.

Meantime, Altaf Hussain offered condolences to the bereaved families of three Express News workers who were assassinated by terrorists on Friday.
