KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain called upon Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif to address the nation within 24 hours on radio and television, demanding him to apprise the people about clear-cut and concrete government measures against terrorists.

In a statement issued here, Altaf said Nawaz Sharif and his aides are just issuing statements to fulfil their responsibility. The entire nation, he said, is restlessly awaiting the address of PM Sharif, warning if the present government does not announce solid and practicable steps against terrorism and terrorists, then Taliban will prevail over the entire country by announcing their unannounced occupation of Pakistan.

Following their domination in the country, Taliban will demolish every memorial of the founders of Pakistan by blowing up with bombs the mausoleums of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal, Altaf Hussain further warned.
