Baloch vows to talk with Afghan for reopening of Noshki-Guznali zero point

QUETTA: Federal minister for States & Frontier Regions, Abdul Qadir Baloch vowed to hold talks with Afghan officials for opening of Noshki-Guznali zero point to increase trade and raise employment opportunities for people of Noshki.

He expressed these views while talking to Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) and Advisor to Prime Minister for Millennium Development Goals (MDG) task force, Mir Haji Ghulam Dastagir Badeni here on Sunday.

Badeni informed the minister that Guznali zero point was inaugurated in 2007 but it was closed due to untoward situation while officials of Levis, frontier corps and other forces is paying duty there.

“Masses in Noshki have been suffering a lot due to closure of this zero point for the last seven years” Badeni informed the minister.

Abdul Qadir Baloch assured him that his ministry would hold talk with Afghan officials over the issue.
