Bilateral relations agenda of Saudi FM: Foreign Secretary

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Secretary (FS) Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry has said that Foreign Minister (FM) of Saudi Arabia Saud-al-Faisal visiting Pakistan will discuss number of matters to promote bilateral relations between two countries.

On Monday, while talking to media men after the meeting of Standing Committee of Senate for Foreign Affairs, Aizaz Chaudhry said, “Advisor of Prime Minister (PM) on National Security and foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz will hold the press conference in the end of Saudi FM visit to Pakistan on Tuesday (Today).

He said, Sartaj Aziz will brief about the talks and agreements conducted between both countries during the visit of Saud-al Faisal. FS expressed ignorance regarding the schedule of meeting between Saud-al-Faisal and Mualana Fazal-ur-Rehman.

On the other side talking about Pak-United States (US) relations Aizaz Chaudhry said, “Preparations for strategic dialog between Pak and Us are underway and exchange of correspondence has started between both countries.”

Replying to a query in this regard FS stated that Pak-US are preparing for strategic dialog, however nothing finally could be said about the US secretary of state John Kerry’s visit to Pakistan.
