Child recovered in action by police, rangers in Orangi

KARACHI: The personnel of the rangers and Citizens-Police Liaison committee (CPLC) conducted an overnight joint operation in the metropolis area of Orangi Town and recovered an abducted minor boy from the area on Friday.

According to CPLC Chief Ahmed Chinoy, the abductors demanded the family of ransom worth Rs.10 million. It should be mentioned here that the eight-year boy was kidnapped on December 22.

Springing in action 12 days after the kidnapping, the CPLC police and the rangers launched the joint sting action in Orangi Town area of Pathan Colony and recovered the child and arrested two miscreants.
