ISLAMABAD: Sale of winter clothes including the second-hand variety particularly in the `Lunda Bazaars` has increased in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi as the weather in the twin cities turned chillier over the weekend.

All kinds of wears and accessories including gloves, woollen hats, mufflers, pullovers, sweaters, shirts and jackets are seen hanging in front of shops and stalls in weekly bazaars, attracting a large number of customers.

However several buyers complained that the prices of new winter wears were out of their reach.

“We, therefore, rush to second-hand cloth stalls, where quality clothes are available at affordable rates”, a buyer said.

Stall of winter clothes and sale points of shoes can be witnessed at Aabpara Market, Melody Market, Super Market, Jinnah Super Market, Sitara Market, Peshawar Mor, Karachi Company, Faizabad, Commercial Market, Sadiqabad Chowk, Raja Bazaar and at many other big shopping malls and markets of the twin cities.
