COAS lauds gunners for displaying highest standards in all professional pursuits

RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif visited the regimental centre of Corps of Artillery at Attock Tuesday, on the occasion of annual commanding officers conference.

According to ISPR, COAS laid wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada on his arrival at Artillery Centre and later addressed the commanding officers. He appreciated the gunners for displaying the highest standards in all professional pursuits, including their befitting participation in operations.

He said that Pakistan Army would do all that is possible to modernize the Corps of Artillery as part of its overall drive to prepare for the future threat.

Speaking on the leadership traits, COAS emphasized cardinals of Character, Courage and Competence as the core ingredients of a military leader to inspire his subordinates and accomplish his assigned mission.

Earlier on his arrival at the regimental centre, COAS was received by the Colonel Commandant Corps of Artillery, Lieutenant General Tariq Nadeem Gillani and Inspector General Arms, Lieutenant General Muhammad Ijaz Chaudhry.
