Cold attitude of defence ministry in Missing Persons compels Munir A. Malik to resign

ISLAMABAD: Former Attorney General Munir A. Malik had resigned due to non-cooperation of defence ministry in “Missing Persons” case, Sources said.

On Wednesday, sources told media the former Attorney General was disappointed because of cold attitude of the government institutions involved in “Missing Persons” case.

Munir A. Malik had the point of view that the defence ministry was briefing wrongly to Prime Minister and Defence Minister in missing persons case then it was not possible for me to continue this respectable job.

However, sources further told the upcoming expected new Attorney General Salman Aslam Butt is staunch believer of implementation on law.
