Court adjourns for indefinite period on Bushra Bibi’s casesMedical student shot dead after her clash with car driver

LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) postponed the request to take the details of Bushra Bibi's cases and records of inquiry, due to the absence of Bushra Bibi's lawyer.The petition of Chairman PTI's wife Bushra Bibi was scheduled for hearing before a two-member bench headed by Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhary of LHC.Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Director General (DG) Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and others were made parties in the petition, and it was taken a stand that the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman is being targeted for political revenge after his removal from office, the petitioner is being called on in new case every day. It is requested that the election in the country is going to be held on February 8. False accusations and propaganda are being made in the media.The petitioner requested that the court order to provide the details of the registered cases and the inquiry.The court adjourned the hearing of the case indefinitely due to non-availability of Bushra Bib i's lawyer.LAHORE: A medical student was shot dead when she had an altercation with an underage car driver who was doing zigzag on a road and ultimately hit her car in Chuhng area.The victim had recently come from Saudi Arabia and was residing in Lahore with her family.Police said the victim had a clash with an underage driver who was doing stunt while driving and hit her car on a road. Following the clash, the suspect called his uncles who opened fire and injured the girl.She was taken to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her wounds.The victim's family has written a letter to Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi in which they alleged that the suspects were influential people and forcing them for reconciliation. They appealed to the CM to provide them protection and justice.The chief minister has taken notice of the incident. Police reached the spot and registered a case.
