Crisis to go out of control if govt not stop drones of dearness: Shujat

LAHORE: President, PML-Q, Senator Chaudhry Shujat Hussain has said it seems there was no govt at all in the country, if they cannot stop drone attacks at least they should stop drones of dearness.

Talking to media people at his residence here today, the PML President further said that if they just control dearness then all other matters would be controlled, in this regard we once again advise the govt to convene All Parties Conference on dearness.

Ch. Shujat Hussain said that this given priority brushing aside all other matters, one can live without electricity but cannot live without food, if dearness was not checked and controlled timely then such a crisis would come which would be very difficult to overcome and control, we have already given authority to the government to immediately convene the APC in order to control the situation, now it was up to the government to implement it.

He said national economy depends in controlling this crisis. Earlier on, delegation of the Civil Society of USA on a visit here at the invitation of Pakistan Civil Society of Peace called on Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi at their residence.

PML Central Secretary General Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, S. M. Zafar and Ch Salik Hussain welcomed the distinguished guests.

On this occasion, Ch Shujat Hussain said there was dire need for further promoting Pak-US relations, peoples of both the countries want to meet each other as such both the countries should make headway in this regard.

US delegation included Kathleen Meyer, Naveed Baqir, Rebecca Faber, Tunde Durosomo, Baverley Bexter, Kewal Likhyani, Martha Carothers, Julie Rumschlag, Neelam Likhyani and Bruce Bigatel.
