Death toll reaches to 7 in Mastung attack, wounded Spanish cyclist shifted to Quetta

Mastung: Death toll in attack on para-military levies force on Wednesday in a firing incident at Mastung district of restive Balochistan province reached to seven.

Three more personnel of the para-military levies force have succumbed to their injuries in hospital while four were died on the spot in morning.

A Spanish tourist (Cyclist) was also injured in the incident, has been shifted to Quetta hospital for treatment where his condition is told out of danger.

Officials say that miscreants opened fire on a van of the levies personnel at Koshak area of Mastung, they were providing security to foreign cyclists, resulting in the death of four personnel on the scene, ten others were also wounded in the incident.

One attacker was also killed in retaliate fire.

Last evening in Daringarh area of Mastung over 24 people were killed and scores were injured in a deadly bombing on the bus of the Shia pilgrims. Lashkar-e-Jhangvi had claimed the responsibility of the bombing.
