Democracy & accountability are inseparable: Dr. Firdous

DASKA: Punjab Chief Minister’s Special Assistant for Information Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that democracy and accountability are inseparable. She said that those who looted national exchequer cannot escape from accountability.

Addressing a function at Sundas Foundation in Sialkot, she said that Khawaja Muhammad Asif deposited Rs 12 crore in Kashmala Tariq’s account would have to be held accountable for their crimes. Asif’s innocence is being proved by another Khawaja who used to challenge him to chew iron but now his own software has been updated so he did not answer the questions of media representatives in Sialkot. The software of PDM will also be updated soon and the air will come out of their inflated balloon. She said that today some domestic servants of Sharif family came to express solidarity with the biggest thug of Sialkot while the big Sialkot thug is in Lahore.

She said it is laughable to hear the mentioning of Pakistan’s sympathy from the mouth of a person who has accumulated billions of rupees in assets under the guise of accumulating wealth abroad and from housing colonies.

Khawaja Sahib, the main difference between your government and the present government Instead of corrupt fraudsters and fake rulers like you, there is now an honest and noble ruler, she said. Congratulating the organizers on the excellent services of Sundas Foundation, she said that their services to humanity are commendable. She also lauded the spirit of the management and said that it was in the interest of humanity to make things easier for deserving persons.

Meanwhile Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that incumbent government is competing with the All Pakistan Loot and Plunder Association of Pakistan and the nation is hearing a lot of noise of the corrupt elements due to struggle of Prime Minister Imran Khan against the corruption.

In her tweet, she apprised the masses performance of the PTI government in the last two and half years. She said that the PTI government completely restored textile industry after 13 years while it also increased the exports of the country after 8 years.

She added that the current accost turned surplus after 20 years and the government unearthed the conspiracies of India in front of the world.

She informed that in the last 10 years anti-corruption department just recovered 430 million rupees but the PTI government in the just 27 months recovered a whopping amount of Rs 206 billion rupees and submitted it to national exchequer.

The SACM said that Chief Minister set a tradition in the first time in history of the province he reviewed the nine year old project and brokered an agreement with low rates and saved billions of rupees. She said that the metro bus agreement was reviewed after eight years and new agreement was signed on a rate of Rs 213 per KM instead of Rs 368 per KM.
