ISLAMABAD: Federal minster of religious affairs Senator Talha Mehmood said Holy Quran Desecration in Sweden is condemnable act.

Quran is our holy book and constitution/guideline of life, said religious minister.

He said insolence of Holy Quran in unacceptable in any condition.

Senator Talha said in his statement on Sweden incident that Quran is beacon for other religions. We respect all religions. We belief of freedom of speech but disrespecting sacred of any religion is completely intolerable.

Country level protest will be lodged on the call of Prime Minister Shehbaz Shareef, said Talha Mehmood.

He said Pakistani nation loves Islam and Quran and they are sacrifices their lives for it.

He also called JUI workers to take full part in this peaceful protest.

Issue will be highlighted on international level with this peaceful protest, he said own and others properties must not be damaged.

Senator said we have to take influential steps on diplomatic level on this issue and OIC and other forums have to play their active role.
