RAWALPINDI: District administration Rawalpindi has approved construction of carpeted road in district courts Rawalpindi to facilitate the lawyers and clients.

District Officer Planning Saima Ghafoor said over 100000 people come to district courts daily and it becomes hard for them to enter into courts from the entrance located in opposite side of Jinnah park during rainy days.

Therefore, district administration has decided to build a 430 feet long carpeted road in district courts keeping in view the problems facing the lawyers community and citizens, she stated. This road will be constructed at the cost of Rs 1.5 million and construction work will be started in a day.
