Doha Group of Qatar interested to invest in energy sector of Pakistan

LAHORE: Doha Group of Qatar Saturday expressed keen interest in promotion of cooperation in energy and other sectors in Pakistan. Chairman board of Directors of Doha Group, Sheikh Mohammad Bin Falah Bin Jassim Jabr Al Thani along with his delegation called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here.

The meeting discussed promotion of cooperation in energy and other sectors.

Speaking on the occasion, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif reiterated that deep brotherly relations exist between Pakistan and Qatar, adding Qatar has international repute in the exports of oil particularly LNG.

The Chief Minister while welcoming investment by Doha Group in energy sector assured that facilities would be provided to the foreign investors on priority basis.

Shahbaz Sharif also hosted a luncheon in the honour of the delegation of Doha Group.

Sheikh Mohammad Al Thani, Mubarak-ul-Nasir, Member National Assembly (MNA)

Aamir Magsi and Muhammad Saeed Mehdi were also present on the occasion.
