KARACHI: Aafia Movement Pakistan leader and noted neurophysician of the country Dr. Fowzia Siddiqui along with Jamaat-e-Islami leader Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan on Saturday left for the US to meet her sister Dr. Aafia Siddiqui. Noted human rights lawyer Clive Safford Smith would also join them in Dubai.

Talking on the occasion, Dr. Fowzia Siddiqui said after long 20 years she is going to meet her innocent sister. She hoped that this meeting would not be a meeting between a glass walls between them but hopefully the authorities would allow the sister to meet and converse freely. She said that the most difficult occasion during the meeting would be to inform Dr. Aafia about the demise of her mother.

She said before this travel they received some threatening messages which are worrisome. She urged the government to ensure their safety and security. She hoped that their struggle for the release of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui would be successful finally.
