LAHORE: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Communication Dr. Shahbaz Gill has termed opposition’s All Parties Conference (APC) as a nexus of corrupt elites.

While addressing a press conference on Sunday in Lahore, the SAPM said that opposition parties are gathering only to escape accountability.

“This government has two agendas only, one is to provide relief to poor and second is to hold corrupt accountable, so organize as many APCs as you want to, but you will still be held accountable, ” Gill said to the opposition.

Criticizing Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), he said that there are hundreds of corruption cases on Sharif family and they still have to audacity to say that they want to rule this country.

“These are the same people who used to even carry their crockery in helicopters. Sharif family used to think of themselves as a pheron. From Dubai to London, they have properties everywhere. Today, the entire Sharif family is present at Bilawal’s shrine because they are scared of accountability, ” Gill stated.

Lashing out at Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), SAPM said that Bilawal Bhutto, who is unable to speak Urdu properly, wanted a lockdown in Sindh without thinking of consequences.

“Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah stubbornly said no one will die of hunger when he imposed lockdown across province. Look at the video of an innocent child whose cock died of drinking contaminated water in Sanghar’s subdivision Khipro, ” he said. Shahbaz Gill further stated that this is the fifth all parties conference in two years.

“Meaning of APC is “All Pakistan Loot Maar Association”. You would have never seen so many conferences in any government’s tenure. When all corrupt unite against a government, it shows that an honest man is ruling the country. Here is a message for all opposition parties that they would not get a National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO), ” he said.

Speaking of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government’s achievements, he challenged everyone to point out a single corruption case in two years.

“Imran Khan worked day and night to save this country. Ehsaas program has helped thousands of people. Through Financial Action Task Force (FATF) bill we saved Pakistan to get blacklisted. Ask those the importance of Langar Khana and Panahgah who do not get meals twice a day or have a roof on their heads, ” he said.

Talking about coronavirus strategy of the government, he said that elites wanted a complete lockdown during the pandemic; however Prime Minister Imran Khan cares about the poor and refused to shut down the country.
