ISLAMABAD: Issue of dysfunctional cooling system of Islamabad Hospital got more intense as Prime Minister Inspection Commission's chairman notice did not worked.
Sources said told that ED Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Dr. Rana Imran gave ok report after installation of air conditioner in new emergency.
Regular ED could not deployed in PIMS.
Cooling system in old emergency and wards is still dysfunctional. Sources said that PIMS authorities also tried to hide the 4 deaths that occurred due to yesterday heat stroke.
Contradiction also emerged in PIMS spokesperson and spokesperson executive director Dr. Mubashir Daha. PIMS spokerperson Dr. Haider Abbasi recognized two deaths and according to Dr. Mubashir Daha the impression of death in PIMS due to heat stroke is not correct.
Inspection Commission Chairman Brigadier (r) Muzaffar Ali Ranjha summoned PWD authority.
Chairman Prime Minister Inspection Commission questioned that who is responsible for not functioning cooling system.
