ISLAMABAD: Electricity tariff for DISCOs has been scaled up by Rs 1.25 per unit .
The decision has been issued under the head of third quarterly adjustment for fiscal year 2022-23.
In the press release issued by NEPRA it has been said the decision will be applicable to the electricity bills for the months of July, August and September.
DISCOs had sent application to NEPRA for quarterly adjustment.
Authority had held public hearing of DISCOs application on May 24. Earlier 47 paisas average per unit was being charged to consumers under the head of quarterly adjustment and its duration was upto June 2023.
Life line consumers of DISCOs will not be affected due to this decision.
The decision will not apply to K-Electric consumers.
