RAWALPINDI: Excise and Taxation Department Rawalpindi (ETDR) has introduced mobile phone service to provide particulars of their vehicles to their owners.

As per Motor Registration Branch Rawalpindi authorities the citizens can obtain all particulars in respect of their vehicles by sending their vehicle number through SMS to number 9966. As soon as the number is sent the particulars of the respective vehicle will appear on the screen.

The citizens have welcomed the facility provided by the excise and taxation department terming it a citizen’s friendly move.
