Farida Bahenjee pays rich tributes to Sajjad Ahmed Kino on his 27th martyrdom anniversary

SRINAGAR: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference and Chairperson of Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement, Fareeda Bahenjee while paying rich tributes to freedom activist, Sajjad Ahmed Kino, on his martyrdom anniversary has said that he sacrificed his life for Kashmir’s freedom from Indian illegal occupation.

She said that Sajjad Ahmed Kino was martyred by the Indian forces after being subjected to mental and physical torture in prisons for many years.

APHC leader said the sacrifices of the Kashmiri martyrs will not be allowed to go waste and their mission will be accomplished at all costs.

Fareeda said that the sacrifices of the Kashmiri martyrs had centre-staged the Kashmir dispute at the global level. She said that these sacrifices are enough to awake the conscience of the world leadership but unfortunately the international community doesn’t pressure India much to resolve the Kashmir issue. Sajjad Ahmad Kenu was martyred by Indian forces on 8th January 1996.
