FIA seeks corruption record of former MD PTV Qazi

ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigating Agency (FIA) has sought corruption record of former Managing Director (MD) Pakistan Television Network (PTV) Mustafa Kamal Qazi in order to initiate formal investigation against him.

Sources told the public department suffered worst loss of its history due to corruption of MD PTV Mustafa Kamal Qazi. Despite paying attention towards the departmental affairs of PTV he settled his personal relations with other departments.

During his tenure PTV suffered loss of two billion rupees. Moreover, sources informed Mustafa Kamal by violating the merit and transparency he accommodated his blue eyed persons on senior positions in the department. He tried to upgrade Shahid Mian and Azhar Rasheed Cheema as directors.
