ISLAMABAD: No further progress could be observed in two weeks in the enquiry of Full court reference footage theft that was held here in the honour of former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP), Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.

Enquiry officer, Additional registrar Muhammad Ali told media that he could not restart investigations as firstly he was busy in Karachi and now he is busy in Islamabad, adding he said that he would try to complete the enquiry next week.

On the other hand, sources informed media that private TV channel (Geo News) and Public Relations officer Supreme Court have not submitted answers up till now.

It is expected that they will submit answers next week following the orders of enquiry officer. Another reason of delay in investigations is that some other private TV channels have also not submitted their answers yet.

It is significant to mention that the video footage of full court reference in honour of former CJP was aired on only one channel, on this, CJP Justice Tasadduq Hussain Jillani ordered additional registrar Muhammad Ali to look into the matter.
