Govt to allocate upto 4% of GDP for education: Balighur Rehman

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Education Engineer Balighur Rehman has said that education is the top priority of the government and it is aiming to enhance the budgetary allocation for education up to four percent of the GDP.

He was talking to advisor to Chief Minister Balochistan Sardar Raza Muhammad Khan Barrech in Islamabad on Monday.

The Minister of State said that technical education is need of the hour as it is service oriented and ensures self employment.

During the meeting‚ they agreed that there must be a uniform standard of education in the entire country and a uniform curriculum is necessary.

Balochistan Advisor informed Minister of State about the problems of the province and the efforts being made to bring the people of Balochistan in the national mainstream.
