Govt to overcome energy crisis with support of friendly countries: Shahbaz

LAHORE: The Punjab Chief Minister Mian Mohammad Shahbaz has said that government is working hard to overcome energy crisis with the cooperation of friendly countries.

He was talking to a delegation of Chinese TV channel Xingjiang in Lahore on Thursday.

He said Pakistan values ties with China which has helped to complete several important projects in the country.

The Chief Minister said Gwadar-Kashgar Economic Corridor carries much significance for the country’s economic development and prosperity.

He said that during his recent visit to China‚ the Chinese province Ronchi has showed willingness to provide three hundred megawatt electricity to Pakistan through transmission line.
