GENEVA: Health minister Abdul Qadir Patel has announced to increase number of Lady Health Workers (LHW) from 89000 to 135000 in five years.

Health minister made this announcement while addressing health assembly in Geneva.

Abdul Qadir Patel said Pakistan considers the implementation of international health regulations as a priority agenda as it has faced a number of health emergencies, including Covid 19 pandemic, Polio, floods, earthquakes and heat waves.
