ISLAMABAD: Member National Assembly (MNA) and Chairman Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Noor Alam Khan has rejected budget for fiscal year 2023-24 saying what is kept for poor masses in this budget.

" farming community has been neglected in the budget. what benefit has been given to hand pushed cart owner. Here are two Pakistans. One is of poor people Pakistan and other is rich people Pakistan. he said this while expressing his views during budget debate in National Assembly (NA) Tuesday.

Corruption of billion of rupees has been committed in Mohmand dam and billion projects, he added.

He went on to say whosoever devours money of the poor persons is not a Muslim. PAC will not spare corrupt elements.

How can this budget be termed good. What has been done for people in this budget. I wonder that this budget has been dubbed as good. Rs 761 billion go to pension. There is no electricity and gas for common man.

Tax is imposed on poor man and the salary of rich person is increased by 300 percent, he remarked.

US should do more for Pakistan, he added.
