IHC declares infructuous petition seeking cancellation of arrest warrants of Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has declared infructuous the petition seeking cancellation of arrest warrants of Imran Khan in Toshakhana case.

The petition came up for hearing before single bench of IHC led by the Chief Justice (CJ) Amir Farooq.

Khawaja Haris and Barrister Gauhar appeared in the court on behalf of Imran Khan.

Sessions court had cancelled arrest warrants on arrival of Imran Khan in judicial complex on March 18.

The case on misplacement of attendance file of Imran Khan in Toshakhana case also came up for hearing before the court.

The court sought report from IG Islamabad on misplacement of attendance file of Imran Khan in Toshakhana case.

Report has also been summoned from trial court.

The CJ IHC Amir Farooq has directed that report regarding misplacement of attendance file of Imran Khan be presented within 10 days.
