IHC seeks report from EC on proceedings initiated so far by it in funding case of PPP, PML-N, JUI others
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sought report from Election Commission (EC) on the proceedings initiated by it so far in the funding case of PPP, PML-N, JUI and other political parties.
The case came up for hearing before single bench Of IHC led by Chief Justice (CJ) Aamer Farooq Thursday.
Anwar Mansoor counsel for PTI leader Farrukh Habib appeared in the court.
Anwar Mansoor requested the court to give some short date for next hearing of the case.
The court remarked we adjourn the hearing till the first week of February.
Anwar Mansoor counsel said they will have done against PTI what they have to do till then.
The court rejected the plea of Anwar Mansoor for fixing next date of hearing early.
The hearing of the case was adjourned till the last week of January.
PTI leader Farrukh Habib had prayed the court for early completion of scrutiny of other political parties except PTI.
