LAHORE: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore while expressing annoyance over non presenting record in connection with bail plea of Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has given time to present record of case till today (Saturday) in illegal appointments in Punjab Assembly (PA) case.

Chaudhry Pervez Elahi former Chief Minister (CM) Punjab is arrested under the charges of making illegal appointments in PA.

The bail petition of Chaudhry Pervez Elahi came up for hearing before Judge Ali Raza of anti corruption court Friday.

Prosecution told the court during the hearing that investigation officer is in Quetta and record of the case is held by him. Record is not available.

The counsel Intizar Hussain said they don’t want to present the record. Court should summon director anti corruption.

The court maintained director anti corruption be called and if he does not come then warrant will be issued.

The prosecutor said we present record in part. Time for half an hour be given.

The court while giving time adjourned the hearing of the case for some time.

Later the court while giving the time for one day more adjourned the hearing of the case till Saturday.

The court ordered to present record of the case.
