IMF holds meetings with PTI representatives for assurance of new program: Ether Perez

ISLAMABAD: International Monitory Fund (IMF) resident representative in Pakistan Ether Perez Ruiz said IMF staff is holding meetings with Pakistan’s political parties to get assurance on implementation of new program.

Representative said in his statement that IMF staff is holding meetings with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Purpose of meeting is to get support on key purposes and policies closer to election.

IMF executive board will consider new stand by arrangements for Pakistan in upcoming days.
