Imran cracks 113 NO in Faisalabad’s 249-7 in Quaid Trophy

KARACHI: Imran Ahmed hammered a superb unbeaten century to propel Faisalabad to 249 for the loss of seven wickets in their first innings on the opening day of their 4-day Quaid-e-Azam Cricket Trophy match against Karachi Whites at National Stadium on Saturday.

Imran clubbed 14 boundaries in his 113 not out after facing 213-ball after sent to bat first on greenish looking track. Paceman Mir Hamza continued his fine run in the event by taking four wickets for 61 runs.

In another match at NBP Sports Complex Ground. Islamabad Region electing to bat first against Multan was bowled out for 237 in 86.1 overs. Muhammad Rameez caused the main damage in Islamabad batting by snapping-up five wickets for 75 runs. Captain Imad Wasim 53 and Sajid Ali contributed 45. Summarized scores:
