Imran Khan nikah case: court will decide on April 27 either Aun Muhammad will appear as witness or not
ISLAMABAD: The court will decide on April 27 either PTI leader Aun Muhammad Chaudhry will appear as witness in the case pertaining to Imran Khan nikah with Bushra Bibi during Iddat in district and sessions court Islamabad.
The case came up for hearing before senior civil judge Nasar Minallah on Wednesday.
Junior counsel of senior counsel Raja Rizwan Abbasi appeared in the court.
He told the court Raja Rizwan Abbasi is busy in Supreme Court (SC) and he will reach here in some time.
He requested the court to observed interval till the arrival of Raja Rizwan Abbasi.
The petitioner Muhammad Hanif too appeared in the court
The court announced interval while accepting the plea.
On resumption of hearing after the interval, Raja Rizwan Abbasi, special prosecutor appeared in the court.
The judge inquired the petition has been filed by the petitioner. Is it anywhere.
The petitioner filed application for recording statement of Aun Chaudhry.
The counsel Rizwan Abbasi told the court the petitioner wants to record statements of more witnesses in the court. Aun Chaudhry had joined Imran Khan Nikkah ceremony as witness. Aun Chaudhry had also joined Nikah ceremony of Imran Aslam.
The counsel Rizwan Abbasi said Aun Chaudhry wants to record statement in the court with reference to Nikah ceremony of Imran Khan. He wants to appear in the court on next hearing.
He requested the court to allow Aun Chaudhry record his statement as witness in this case.
The court while reserving the judgment on the petition seeking inclusion of Aun Chaudhry in the case as witness. adjourned the hearing of the case till April 27.
