Imran Khan wanted to give relief to masses: Pervez Ellahi

LAHORE: Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervez Ellahi has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan wanted to give relief to masses.

The Speaker Punjab Assembly reached on the residence of former MNA Mian Muneer to condole on his brother demise. Chaudry Pervez Ellahi prayed higher status in heaven for the departed soul and courage for the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Talking at the occasion, Chaudhry Pervez Ellahi said that participation of all the political parties in the by-election is welcoming. He said that despite the cold weather the opposition wanted to heat up the political situation.

He congratulated candidates who won intra-party elections of the party while also congratulated central President Chaudhry Shujat Hussain, central secretary general Chaudhry Tariq Bashir Cheema and presidents of all the four provinces including Gilgit Baltistan and Islamabad Capital president and general secretaries.

The PA speaker said that a democratic process in the party has completed adding that everyone has to work together to make the party stronger.

The PML-Q leader said that opposition parties want to increase the political temperature with their Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) in this cold weather. The concerned authorities are required to take immediate action to improve the situation, he suggested.
