India’s enhanced trade opportunities with Pakistan possible: Raghavan

RAWALPINDI: The Indian High Commissioner for Pakistan, T.C.A. Raghavan has expressed the possibility of India’s enhanced trade opportunities with Pakistan.

In his statement given during his visit to Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce, the Indian High Commissioner said that both countries already enjoyed a trade volume worth $2.5 billion.

He also outlined a SAARC meeting of trade ministers to be held next week in New Delhi, while president Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Shamayl Khawaja expressed his optimism about possible positive reflections of forthcoming meeting of Pakistan-Indian Prime Ministers.

Raghavan also said that all passengers travelling to India would have to show a polio-free certificate.
