Iranian President’s Special Representative on Afghanistan meets Hina Rabbani Khar .
ISLAMABAD: Minister of state for foreign affairs Hina Rabbani Khar has said Afghanistan is facing multiple complex challenges, therefore, sustained cooperation of international community with Afghan interim government is must.
She said this during her meeting with Iranian President's Special Representative on Afghanistan, Hassan Kazemi Ghomi in Islamabad on Thursday.
The two leaders expressed their determination for peaceful and stable Afghanistan.
According to Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson the two leaders have reached the agreement during their meeting on moving ahead the regional peace and development on bilateral level and further fortifying the cooperation.
The state minister said that deep fraternal ties underpin the strong bonds of solidarity between the two countries.
Pakistan and Iran are friends and neighbors of Afghanistan and both have vital role on this count.
Earlier, the Iranian Special Representative also met Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Ambassador Mohammad Sadiq.
